[...] I met a lot of amazing people from Africa, Asia, and normally I don't get that in other fashion weeks," said David Fernando Martinez Lugo, founder of the Cinettica Fashion & Art Film Festival.

"It is a platform capable of bringing many cultures together, building bridges and connections and, most importantly, offering extensive networking opportunities, which are truly significant here in Moscow. For them, it is a great honour and opportunity because they are only just beginning their journey. Reaching a new level and gaining access to such a broad audience is something truly fantastic and impressive for them," said Mediterranean Fashion Week Director Sergio Puig.
International Apparel Federation President Cem Altan added that the project was not simply a place for trade, but 'a space for learning and networking'.
The BRICS Plus Fashion Summit is being held as part of the seventh Moscow Fashion Week and runs from September 28-30 - focusing on changing macroeconomic conditions, shifts in consumer behaviour, the use of artificial intelligence in design and manufacturing, as well as ways to scale brands and enter international markets.
