"[Business] forum is something we plan to hold next year. It has already received support in Germany from the Alternative for Germany party, and we have already received more than 20 requests from German businesses - they are coming in a flood. The American Chamber of Commerce has also supported it, so we will definitely hold it. This will be an example of how business dialogue can truly overcome the barriers that globalists, failed liberals and such left-wing forces in Europe are trying to promote. <...> It has received very strong support from Germany and the United States," Dmitriev said on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi on Saturday.
He said organisers were considering two possible locations, including a neutral venue in or near the Middle East.
"One option is a country in the Middle East, and the other is a country closer to the Middle East. Perhaps we will indeed choose a neutral country to host this forum and, once again, announce it closer to the end of this year," he said.
The two-day summit opened on Saturday under India's BRICS chairship, bringing together leaders and senior representatives from the bloc's 11 member countries.
The summit runs from September 12 to 13 under the theme 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability'.
