"We recognise the significance of the upcoming meeting of high-level representatives from the BRICS member states in New Delhi next month. It will be an important step in the run-up to the main event - the BRICS summit. I wish us all success in our joint work," Shoigu said.

The International Security Forum is taking place from May 26-29. The Russian side has invited more than 180 delegations from foreign states and organisations. The programme includes bilateral and multilateral meetings, as well as visits to exhibition stands.
