Footage shows the top diplomat shaking hands with the Russian Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, after disembarking from the aircraft.

According to media reports, Lavrov is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings, including one with US State Secretary Marco Rubio, and take part in multilateral events within the G20, BRICS, and CSTO.
