Leaders adopted the New Delhi Declaration on Saturday, calling for a more representative international order and deeper cooperation on sustainable development, inclusive growth, trade, finance and technology.
The declaration also confirmed China's BRICS chairship in 2027 and backed the holding of the 19th BRICS Summit in China.
BRICS held its first leaders' summit in 2009 with Brazil, Russia, India and China. South Africa joined as a full member in 2011, followed by further expansion in 2024 and Indonesia's entry in 2025.
